It started with a corgi we couldn't find boarding for
Before a business trip, our founder visited five boarding facilities. Cages stacked on cages, ventilation via exhaust fans, a dog barking all afternoon with no one responding. She kept thinking: wouldn't it be wonderful if there were a place where pets are treated like guests at a friend's house?
We don't buy off-the-shelf cages. Every suite is custom-built to medium-dog height, soundproofed and odor-isolated, with its own ventilation and camera. Staff-to-pet ratio is kept under 1:6 — not because the numbers work, but because observation shows that past six pets, someone gets overlooked.
The doors stay open during the day, so dogs move freely between the indoor areas and the outdoor run. On sunny days two or three cats are always sprawled on the sofa, and a row of dogs sleeps sideways on the floor. We don't stage our photos — we shoot them at their most relaxed moments: drooling, legs in the air, dozing by the floor lamp. Those are our "promotional pictures".
There's no complicated reason behind all this: we're the kind of people who, before a trip, portion food to the gram and write three pages of care notes. We know what you care about.
